Earthsafe M8 Fuel System Container All-In-One Designs for Critical Generators

Earthsafe M8 Fuel Tanks and associated pumps and controls are designed to external dimensions of ISO Containers 8 feet wide x 8’-6” High x 20 or 40 feet long.

The M8 Design allows for substantial storage of diesel fuel (6000 GAL at 20 Feet and 12,000 GAL at 40 Feet) with an equipment compartment built into one end to provide all fuel transfer monitoring and control.  Additional compartments may be built-in for associated DEF and Lube Inventories.

The M8 Design makes for fast installations on-site using flexible piping and conduit to connect to one or multiple generators.  All pumps and control valves are pre-fabricated within the equipment compartment.

  • Fuel Tank: 6000 Gallon Primary Tank UL142 Rated and Double Contained. Integral Equipment Compartment at Tank End
  • Fuel Receipt Functions to receive (125 GPM) and pump fuel into storage tank with strict over-fill prevention devices
  • Fuel Measurement and Monitoring of Fuel Volumes and Leak Sensors.  Remote connectivity options for Fuel Logistics.
  • Generator Tank Auto-Refill: Duplex Transfer Pumps with Level sensors, automated valves,  and control for auto-refill of generator sub-base tanks. Alarms for high level, low level, and leak integrated to generator controls.
  • Fuel Polishing:  Fuel Transfer pumps, filter units, sensors and controls for main tank and generator tank fuel polishing.
  • Connections:  Approximately 50 feet long flexible pipe and conduit runs from the M8 unit to 2 generators
  • Power: Single power drop to M8 unit.  All power distribution and motor control equipment included in the M8.

Optional Enhancements:

  • Fuel capacity: System expandable for additional fuel volumes by adding addition 20 feet (6000 Gallon) or 40 feet (12,000 Gallon) auxiliary tanks.
  • Generator Count: System expandable for additional generator units

Fresh Oil and Waste Oil for Generators and CHP

A M8 Container Provides Fresh Oil (3000 Gallons)  and Collects Waste Oil (3000 Gallons) for multiple natural gas generators with extended run requirements.  The oil transfer can be performed manually under supervision or automatically with control inputs.  The M8 includes transfer pumps for delivery truck unloading and waste truck loading. The M8 supports fixed systems and also mobile oil change systems at large data centers.

Specifications:

  • Overall Dimensions: 8’ Wide x 8’-6” Height x 20 feet Length.
  • Insulated Tanks: 3000 x 3000 Gallon Dual Compartment Primary Tank UL142 Rated and Double Contained. Insulated between tank walls. Integral Equipment Compartment at Tank End
  • Oil Receipt and Waste Oil Offload Functions to receive (100 GPM) and pump oil into storage tank with strict over-fill prevention devices, or discharge oil to recycle truck
  • Oil Measurement and Monitoring of Oil Volumes and Leak Sensors.  Remote connectivity options for Oil Logistics.
  • Generator Auto-Refill: Duplex Transfer Pumps with Level sensors, automated valves,  and control for auto-refill of generator oil tanks. Alarms for high level, low level, and leak integrated to generator controls.
  • Heating:  Heating system for fresh and waste oil
  • Connections: Flexible pipe and conduit runs from the M8 unit to generators
  • Power: Single power drop to M8 unit.  All power distribution and motor control equipment included in the M8.

Optional Enhancements:

  • Fuel capacity: System expandable for additional oil volumes by adding addition 20 feet (6000 Gallon) or 40 feet (12,000 Gallon) auxiliary tanks.
  • Generator Count: System expandable for additional generator units

Configuration 3:

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) for Generators

A M8 Container Provides DEF for multiple natural gas or diesel generators with extended run requirements.  The DEF transfer to can be performed manually under supervision or automatically with control inputs.  The M8 includes transfer pumps for delivery truck unloading.  The M8 supports fixed systems and also mobile DEF change systems at large data centers.

Specifications:

  • Overall Dimensions: 8’ Wide x 8’-6” Height x 20 feet Length.
  • Insulated SS/CS Tanks: 6000 Gallon Stainless Steel Primary Tank within Coated Carbon Steel Secondary Containment. Insulated between tank walls. Integral Equipment Compartment at Tank End
  • DEF Receipt: Functions to receive (100 GPM) and pump DEF into storage tank with strict over-fill prevention devices.
  • DEF Measurement and Monitoring of Oil Volumes and Leak Sensors.  Remote connectivity options for Oil Logistics.
  • Generator Auto-Refill: Duplex Transfer Pumps with Level sensors, automated valves,  and control for auto-refill of generator DEF tanks. Alarms for high level, low level, and leak integrated to generator controls.
