Earthsafe Quality Standards
Europe

Earthsafe designs and builds products and systems in compliance with US, European, and Global Standards.  All products are made in accordance with our quality process certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TUV.

Rectangular Tanks for Diesel, AUS32, and Engine Oil

Earthsafe makes rectangular tanks from 100 L to 20 M3. The US standard is UL 142 for diesel and oil and we use the same construction for AUS32 (DEF) in stainless steel.

The European Standard EN 12285-2 Workshop Fabricated Steel Tanks, is limited to cylindrical tanks only and does not apply.  For this reason Earthsafe tanks fabricated in Europe are built to include these standards as applicable:

  • BS 799-5 (UK) Carbon Steel Storage Tanks which includes provisions for rectangular tanks
  • DIN 6625-1 and 2 (DE) Rectangular Steel Tanks for Aboveground Storage
  • BRL-K21051/01(NL-KIWA) Steel Tanks and Spill Containers which includes provisions for rectangular tanks up to 3 M3

Fire Rated Aboveground Tanks for Diesel and Engine Oil

Earthsafe makes fire-rated aboveground storage tanks to UL 2085.  There is no equivalent European standard.
