Urban Camp Solar Systems for Net Zero Energy
Urban-Camp has introduced its solar power system for groups of homes replacing tent camps. Each home unit has 4 solar panels of 400 W rating each. Each group of 10 homes has a utility house with inverter and battery systems. That 16,000 watts of solar power for each home group.
The highly efficient, low energy consumption living spaces, rated at 1600 watts to match the solar panel output. This results in a near zero energy profile for the homeless camp.
Battery storage systems allow the power to be used throughout the day and night. And these can be supplemented with grid or generator power to get through solar power deficiencies.
