Earthsafe recently completed Urban Hi-Rise Fuel System projects which included most of the significant challenges to designing and constructing these systems.  Details of our design recommendations are in our whitepaper: M450.T01 High Rise Building Fuel Systems.

The Earthsafe network controllers used in these systems allows for assured reliability and low cost and management of the fuel system by building personnel.

New Goldman Sachs Office in Salt Lake City

The 25 story high rise required fully redundant power systems to meet the client needs for reliability.  Generators are located on the roof of the building, and storage tanks are 2 levels below grade.  Tank filling stations are located at ground level with fuel truck access.  The Eathsafe network controllers are used on day tanks, duplex pump sets, filter polishers, and fill stations to communicate with 2 Master panels Full BMS connection is based BACnet protocol.

Grupo Roble in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The 20 story Hotel Intercontinental Real is developed by Grupo Roble, Central America’s largest real estate firm.  Generators are located 2 levels below grade. Duplex Pumps and Filter Polishers are 4 levels down, and the storage tank vaulted at 5 levels down.  The Earthsafe C900 master controller monitors and controls the fuel transfer operations and connects via BACnet to the BMS system.

Al Hilal Bank Tower, Abu Dhabi, UAE

The 24 story office tower in the central city is an architecturally distinctive building in the center of the business district.  The Earthsafe fill stations, duplex pumps and filter polishers assure safe delivery and storage of fuel to maintain reliable generator service during power interruptions. The Earthsafe C900 master controller monitors and controls the fuel transfer operations and connects via BACnet to the BMS system.
