Reliable Fuel Supply for 20 generators at large data center facility required a mission critical system of re-filling day tanks.  The system design detailed in the case study is based on breaking the facility down into 4 logical sub-systems, each of which is served by a somewhat traditional but very robust fuel system.

The systems also include fill stations, duplex pumps, and fuel filtration.  Redundant Master Controllers interface with the facility PMS, Power Management System, to allow the operators to have comprehensive monitoring of the fuel system.

The day tanks also have some special characteristics, such as sudden loss detection, which are detailed in the case study.
