The Earthsafe Quadplex control system was used to provide integration of redundant system elements. |

The system fed (2) generator units which were located 5 levels above the tank storage. The system included an advanced fill station design to allow safe filling of the bulk tank from street level. |

The work was required to be performed in limited access areas alongside the public way, requiring an innovative excavation shoring system. The work was performed with complex work sequences to assure uninterrupted service to the generators and boilers in the operating hospital. A customized pump / day tank assembly was fabricated to accommodate space limitations in the building. |

The congested site required that the tank be installed using an engineered shoring system.
