The new research campus for Howard Hughes is a significant investment for one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the world. The $ 500 million facility is designed into a hillside overlooking the Potomac River to provide a unique environment for world class research teams. Earthsafe provided a 20,000 gallon aboveground fuel tank to serve (2) generators of 2 MW capacity. Generators included exhaust treatment systems for pollution control. In addition the boilers were provided with a 45,000 gallon capacity propane / air storage and blending system to minimize emissions at the “green” facility. |

| Earthsafe provided dual 10,000 gallon storage tanks in the building with a remote fill station at street level designed for safe filing of the tanks. Dual pump systems transfer fuel from the tanks to serve (2) generator day tanks. The Earthsafe Quadplex control system provides integration of the system components, including safely switching FOS and FOR piping at the dual storage tanks. |

| Earthsafe provided the emergency power fuel system for the new central plant facility at the CDC campus. The tight site restrictions required the use of an innovative shoring method for the 40,000 gallon underground fuel tank. Transfer systems provided for fuel delivery to 3 generator and 3 boiler units. |
